ZATCA — the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority — is the Saudi government body running customs, VAT and zakat. It was formed in 2021 by merging the tax authority with Saudi Customs. For importers it means one authority for duties (mostly 5%), import VAT (15%) and declarations filed via FASAH.
